Data Deletion and Duration of Storage
As a principle and unless otherwise specified, your personal data will only be stored as long as necessary for the purpose of collection and storage, with a maximum of six months post-application process. According to your consent, data can be stored longer, as long as you do not revoke your consent. Storage may also occur if this has been provided by the European or national legislator in EU regulations, laws, or other provisions to which we are subject. This is the case, for example, for billing data, which must usually be stored for at least 10 years. If data is stored based on such a legal regulation, its processing will accordingly be restricted, i.e., the data will no longer be processed for any other purposes for which they were collected. Creating a User Profile as an Employer
Within our app, you have the option to create a profile to publish job advertisements and find suitable candidates. For this purpose, the following data is required: first name, last name, company (for legal entities), contact details (incl. email address and password, telephone number), address, billing address, registration data, company, and job descriptions. Additional data can be provided voluntarily.
The aforementioned required data are necessary to ensure that the user profile functions as intended and can be attributed only to you. The collection and processing of personal data in this context are justified by the performance contract we conclude with you. If you do not provide us with this data, we cannot set up a user profile for you and cannot provide our associated services.
Job applications are reviewed by chainstaff and securely shared with hiring companies via Notion. We ensure data is handled in compliance with privacy laws and secure data transmission practices. The basis for processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Creating a User Profile as a chainstaffer ("mediator")
Within our application, we offer users the opportunity to create a profile by providing personal data. The data is entered into an input mask and transmitted and stored by us. Data is not passed on to third parties unless they explicitly apply for an open position, thus releasing their data to the employers advertising the position. The processing of data occurs exclusively for the purpose of providing the user profile and its associated functionalities.

Creating a User Profile as a Candidate
Within our app, you have the option to create a profile to view job advertisements and participate in application processes. For this purpose, the following data is required: first name, last name, contact details (incl. email address and password, telephone number), address, photo, resume (including date of birth), and other application-relevant information (e.g., academic degrees, special skills and abilities, work experience, etc.). Additional data can be provided voluntarily.
If you create a user profile with us using your LinkedIn account (login via LinkedIn), we collect the information you have provided on LinkedIn and link it to your user profile on chainstaff.
The aforementioned required data are necessary to ensure that the user profile functions as intended and can be attributed only to you. Additionally, we can only consider you for suitable job advertisements and let you participate in application processes based on this data. The collection and processing of personal data in this context are justified by the usage contract we conclude with you. If you do not provide us with this data, we unfortunately cannot set up a user profile for you and cannot provide our associated services.
If you have created a user profile with us, we check the currency of the data you have provided over time by comparing it with the public profiles you have specified (e.g., on LinkedIn). If we find that your profile on chainstaff is no longer current, we will actively contact you. The basis for processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Participation in an Application Process as an Employer
If you decide to unlock suitable candidates for your job advertisement, the data mentioned under the "Creating a User Profile as an Employer" section about you will be disclosed to such candidates. Disclosure is necessary to facilitate contact between employers and candidates. The basis for processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Participation in an Application Process as a Candidate
If you wish to participate in application processes, the data mentioned above about you will be disclosed to employers who have published a job advertisement. Disclosure is necessary to facilitate contact between employers and candidates and is therefore justified by the usage contract we have concluded with you. If you access a job advertisement published by us via a link within a social network (e.g., LinkedIn), we collect and store the following information that you have made publicly available in the respective social network: first name, last name, referrer URL, employer, and job title, accessed job advertisement. We need this information to ensure that you do not apply for the same position multiple times and that you are not approached multiple times regarding the same position. The basis for processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Further Processing Based on Legal Obligations
In addition, we collect, store, and process personal data related to your use of our online services if we are obligated or authorized to do so by relevant legal regulations. Contact is made exclusively through the communication means provided within the respective platform (e.g., in-app messages). If you show interest in our offer, we store the publicly accessible information from your professional profile to offer you the most suitable job offers. In this case, the basis for processing is the (pre-)contractual relationship with you according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR. If you are not interested in our offer or do not respond, we will not store any data about you. Only the publicly accessible information that you have independently entered in your chainstaff user profile will be retained.

To continuously improve our offer, we analyze the data available to us on applications, inquiries, job advertisements, etc. The analyses are carried out for the purpose of business evaluations, marketing, and market research.
